Job Description
This is a great opportunity to join an independent surveying consultancy in Bristol, who are looking to appoint a Senior or Chartered Building Surveyor.
The business works across a variety of sectors, including Heritage, Commercial and Education, meaning you’ll be exposed to a broad range of technical and project-based work. You’ll work closely with the Directors and play an important role within the wider team.
The consultancy is at an exciting stage of its development, with plans to expand the business further. As a result, there is genuine scope for the successful candidate to become increasingly involved at a business level, taking on greater responsibility and helping shape the direction of the company as it develops.

Duties:
As a Senior Surveyor, you’ll be supporting in the following areas:
Technical Services:
• Pre-acquisition Surveys
• Defect Diagnosis
• Planned Preventative Maintenance
• Condition Surveys
• Housing Disrepair Surveys
• Party Wall
Project Services:
• Contract Administration
• Project Management
• Procurement
• Acting as Employers Agent
Requirements
• Degree in Building Surveying or similar related field
• Confident to lead on projects (with support when needed)
• A desire to undertake your APC if not already
• Eager to learn and progress quickly
