Key Responsibilities:
Producing monthly budgetary control reports on all materials purchased for each site.
Identifying potential new suppliers
Monitoring supply chain and upgrading suppliers to preferred status when necessary.
Resolving disputes and account queries between suppliers and the company.
Purchasing input to support to new products and suppliers
Ensure lowest overall cost of acquisition
Support to New Product Development Projects from a purchasing perspective
Ensure suppliers deliver product to agreed delivery dates and helping to put together a plan for poorly performing suppliers
Monitoring supplier performance and supplier assessment (working with the supplier quality team)
Sourcing new suppliers
Requirements
Experience within the construction and/or house sector
Computer literate, use excel and excel based ERP systems
Diligent and eager to grow.
