Contract: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week

In this role, you will provide programme leadership, governance oversight and technical direction across Signalling, Electrification and Telecoms rail projects in Ireland in both light and heavy rail. • Provide programme‑level leadership across technical, safety, governance and assurance interfaces within a safety‑critical rail environment

  • Ensure compliance with rail safety, regulatory and assurance requirements relevant to the Irish rail network

  • Manage programme performance across cost, schedule, risk and quality, ensuring effective control and decision‑making

  • Act as a senior point of contact for clients, infrastructure managers, regulators and assurance bodies

  • Review and approve key engineering deliverables, methodologies, RAMS and designs

  • Support work winning and future opportunities by applying programme and technical expertise to shape early solutions and build client confidence across their rail portfolio in Ireland

  • Provide clear advice to senior stakeholders on programme risk, resourcing and delivery strategy

  • Lead the national programme of work from their office in Dublin.

Requirements

  • A clear ambition to play a leading role in building and scaling a business in a new market, underpinned by adaptability and a strong growth-oriented mindset.

  • Strong experience delivering rail systems programmes within safety critical environments, with exposure to Signalling, Electrification and Telecoms disciplines

  • Proven senior project or programme leadership on complex, multi disciplinary rail projects

  • Solid understanding of rail safety, governance and assurance requirements

  • Confident, senior level stakeholder and client engagement experience

  • Ability to support work winning and future opportunities through programme and technical input

  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering or a related discipline, with relevant professional accreditation or working towards one.
