Job Description
This organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Employers Agent to join their established team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially strong EA with a proven background in the social housing sector to take a key role in delivering high quality projects and driving value for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead commercial management of social housing refurbishment and new build projects
Prepare manage cost plans, estimates, variations and final accounts
Undertake contract administration (JCT experience preferred)
Conduct risk and value management exercises
Provide strong commercial guidance to project teams
Liaise with client, contractors and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
Mentor junior team and contribute to team development
Requirements
Minimum 5 + years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor
Specific experience in the social housing sector is essential
Strong understanding of cost control, tendering and contractual processes
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
RICS accreditation (or working towards) is beneficial but not essential
