Job Description
Overview:
This client facing cost management consultancy are looking to appoint an MRICS QS to join their London office from Project level through to Associate level. Within this role you’ll be working on behalf of corporate clients in the commercial office sector with projects valued up to £200m.
They’re looking for driven individuals who are keen to further their career to assist in their ambitious plans for growth, which is to double turnover in the next five years.
Responsibilities:
Preparing feasibilities and cost plans
Procurement of client’s professional team and appointments
Preparation of tender packs
Tender review and providing recommendations on appointment of main contractors
Preparation of main contract (usually JCT)
Contract administration throughout project
Chairing client meetings
Settling disputes as and when they arise
Project reporting
Settling final accounts
Requirements
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
MRICS qualified
Experience across the built environment, ideally commercial office space or similar.
Knowledge of various forms of JCT contracts
A strong desire to progress quickly
Prior client facing experience
