Job Description
This client facing consultancy have a Quantity Surveyor position available in Coleshill. You’ll be joining a team of 15 construction professionals and be working across various sectors across the built environment. Although, they are a traditional client facing consultancy, they also prepare bills of quantities for tier one main contractors.
Sectors include car retail, healthcare, education, public sector (police), hotels and warehousing.
This is a varied role that can offer some great experience across multiple sectors for all different client types.
Duties:
Gaining an understanding of the client’s brief
Liaising and managing third party consultants
Preparing tender packs
Take offs using computer software
Preparation of Bills of Quantities
Procurement, tender review & providing recommendations to your client
Appointment of main contractors
Contract administration (Mainly JCT)
Attending progress meetings
Requirements
Degree qualified or similar qualification
Prior experience working within a client facing role
Open to working across various sectors
Prior experience with JCT contracts
